Children Reaching Across the World to Make a Difference

In April, the Foundation received a quantity of backpacks, storybooks, and stationery supplies that were collected and donated by children from the Kendall United Methodist Church in Miami, Florida.

These items were distributed in early May to underprivileged children from Sophia in the Agape Network’s afterschool program. Sophia is a neglected community on the outskirts of Georgetown, and the children we met are from homes with very few resources. Some are orphans.

Gomin Camacho, one of the Foundation’s volunteers, assisted in giving out these items. We were so happy to see the smiles and joy on the faces of these children, and look forward to providing updates on their educational progress.

The children and staff shared their delight at receiving these much-needed items, and send their deepest appreciation to the children of the Kendall United Methodist Church.
